When we decided to have an evening about the Queen Scout Award to kick start us in to doing it and give a bit of guidance, we thought, hey, why not invite Lord Baden Powell along. The great grandson of the man who started the scouting movement, it seemed rather appropriate to invite him along to an evening about the highest award in scouting.
After a presentations, Lord Baden-Powell gave us a talk on his early scouting days and how much we could achieve.
We finished the evening by presenting one of our scarves to Lord Baden-Powell, who is now the second person to receive a scarf without being invested.
